Hello, Tartlets and Darksiders! A new book club podcast episode is up on Dark Side of the Word. Join me and Kait as we discuss the historical fiction horror novel Wolf Worm by one of our favorite authors, T. Kingfisher!
What’s this episode about?
While Kait and I didn’t love Wolf Worm as much as Kingfisher’s previous novels, we still had a good time reading this one. And, as we talked about the story, we came away with an ever greater appreciation for what this author can do.
And, while Wolf Worm wasn’t scary per se, it definitely had some moments where each of us were freaked the fuck out.
Prepare yourself for insects and nature, art and drawing, Southern folklore, disturbingly religious folk, learning things about science and biology you really wish you didn’t know, and all manner of things that go bump in the night.
