Hello, Tartlets and Darksiders! A new book club podcast episode is up on Dark Side of the Word. Join me and Kait as we discuss the classic horror novel The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.
Kait and I decided to read more “classic” spooky stories, and The Haunting of Hill House was a great one to start with. It was fun to read a novel that has inspired countless horror authors and books, and that continues to be adapted into TV series like Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House, movies like The Haunting, and contemporary horror books like A Haunting on the Hill. We even drew some comparisons to some of our favorite recent reads for Dark Side like What Feasts at Night and What Moves the Dead.
